A little about me
Hi there, i'm Trevor, a wedding videographer based in San Diego, California. Over the last 7 years, I have had the honor of documenting weddings and crafting films that blow my couples away.
My dad is the reason I'm doing what I love
After retiring, he started his own business, Video Reflections, and began bringing me along to help film weddings. While in college, I took over the editing process, and that’s when my passion for crafting beautiful wedding films truly began.
My dad gave me the business in 2021, and that's when I changed the name to Leggacy Films. I moved to San Diego from Wisconsin in 2023, and have been pursuing my passion of wedding videography since.

It’s an incredible blessing to use the gifts God has given me for good. He is my life source—the foundation from which I create and work. I strive to live like Jesus, bringing light into the world through my creations.
Outside of my business, you’ll often find me solo hiking new trails, running, spending time with my church family, reading a good book, or flying my drone. But what I cherish most are the quiet moments of solitude, where I can reflect, recharge, and draw closer to Him.

The name Leggacy is a blend of my last name, Legg, and the idea that your wedding day is the start of a legacy—one that will continue to unfold in ways you can’t yet imagine. My passion is capturing this new beginning as it truly is
My philosophy
My filmmaking journey started when my dad started bringing me out to weddings in high school. I noticed the intergrity and the respect he had with his couples. He gave them more than just a product.

His determination to "do things right" and not cut corners has stuck with me. I want to give you that same experience. I strive to maintain the same philosophy my dad had about his work.
Booking: If we’re a great fit, I’ll send a proposal to officially secure your date.
Pre-Wedding Call: 1–2 months before, we’ll review your wedding day timeline in a 30-minute call to finalize details and ensure we’re in sync.
Wedding Day: I arrive punctual and unobtrusive, capturing both key moments and candid in-betweens. I shoot handheld 75% of the time, using multiple cameras only for ceremony and reception.
Post-Wedding: I edit your film(s) immediately, delivering them within 3 weeks via an online gallery for easy streaming and download.
Experience: Simple, seamless, and stress-free from start to finish.

what inspires me
Nostalgia inspires me. I love watching my family’s old home videos—they capture moments I was too young to remember and let me see loved ones, like my grandma who passed before I was born. They remind me how important it is to preserve the spirit of the people we cherish, because we never know how long they’ll be with us.

We are all artists in our own unique way. The way they embrace their unique quirks inspires me to do the same. My hope is that you can see something special in me and my work that resonates with you.
Music shapes my creative process, from M83’s cinematic depth to Bon Iver’s intimate storytelling. I aim to bring that same emotion into wedding films, capturing your love story authentically, timelessly, and personally.

The way he lived shapes how I live, especially in business. He was holy—set apart yet humble, caring deeply for others. Seeing marriage as a sacred celebration, not just an event, shapes how I capture weddings and honor each love story
Jesus Christ
Unlike a lot of videographers who take on 20 or more weddings a year, I’ve chosen to slow things down and cap my schedule at 15 weddings. This way, I can give each couple the time and attention they deserve — getting to know your story, understanding what matters most to you, and crafting a film that truly feels like you. Keeping my workload small means I’m never rushing through edits or letting projects pile up — every wedding gets my full focus from start to finish.
