Despite the hot sun beating down on us, this wedding was absolutely incredible. I’d actually met up with Ashley & Trevor beforehand for their engagement session, and filming them being all lovey-dovey together turned out to be such a great move. I knew that footage would elevate their wedding film—and it definitely did.

On the morning of the wedding, the guys and girls got ready right next door to each other in the same white house. How convenient, right? Ashley even surprised all her favorite ladies with gifts, and capturing their reactions was priceless.

The ceremony? Perfect. Trevor’s reaction to seeing Ashley walk down the aisle was legendary, and my second videographer crushed it—she even caught the tears rolling. Their personal vows were thoughtful and emotional, which made their highlight film hit even harder. And thank goodness for the sun umbrellas because everyone was sitting in full sunshine!

Reception time was epic. I put the drone up to get a full overview of the setup, and it was a total game changer. Their first dance is probably my favorite I’ve ever filmed—their practice really paid off because it was beautifully executed. As the night went on, the energy got wild, and we captured some iconic dance moves. The exit was the perfect final moment. Surrounded by all their loved ones, cheering them on as they hopped into an old-fashioned getaway car... it doesn’t get much better.

Overall, their day was an amazing celebration with their favorite people, and I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding to capture.
